童彥平

1985年自臺灣到美國求學。1992年，賓州州立大學分子與細胞生物學博士畢業。1992-1997年春，在加州史坦福大學生物系從事遺傳工程研究。1996年，蒙主呼召。1999年，取得海外神學院道學碩士。2016年，取得美國正道福音神學院教牧博士。

自1999年起迄今，與劉紹玲師母在加州 Palo Alto 基督教會中心堂牧會事奉，並在海外神學院教授聖經課程。其間，經常受邀赴美國、日本、莫斯科、台灣、緬甸及亞洲各地主領聚會，並參與各地培訓傳道人的事奉，教導新舊約聖經及實踐神學等課程。

Pastor Toung came to the United States from Taiwan in 1985 to study. In 1992, he graduated with a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology from Pennsylvania State University. From 1992 to the spring of 1997, he conducted genetic engineering research in the Department of Biology at Stanford University in California. In 1996, he received the Lord's calling and attended Overseas Theological Seminary. In 1999, he received a Master of Divinity from OTS. In 2016, he received a Doctor of Ministry from Logos Evangelical Seminary in the United States.

Since 1999, he has served with his wife Shirley at the Central Chinese Christian Church in Palo Alto, California, and has taught Bible courses at OTS. During this time, he has been frequently invited to lead meetings in the United States, Japan, Moscow, Taiwan, Myanmar, and throughout Asia. He has also participated in ministerial training for pastors in various locations, teaching courses on the Old and New Testaments and practical theology.
