黃嘉寧

黃嘉寧長老在中國廈門鼓浪嶼出生和長大，感謝神的恩典，使她從小有機會受到家庭和周圍環境一些基督信仰的影響。她於1990年在廈門大學取得生物化學學士學位，同年赴美繼續深造，並於1995年在邁阿密大學獲得生物化學和分子生物學博士學位。在讀書期間，嘉寧參加校園團契，進一步接受福音信主，並於1994年初在邁阿密華人浸信會受洗歸入主名。1995年遷居加州舊金山灣區做博士後，隨後一直在生物技術領域進行新藥研發工作，至今二十多年。嘉寧於1999年初加入Palo Alto基督教會中心堂，逐漸在兒童主日學、團契小組、教會聖工團各樣不同的事工服事， 並於2025年被按立成長老。她與吳愷弟兄有一個兒子Alan。

Elder Jianing Huang was born and raised on Gulangyu Island in Xiamen, China. Thanks to God's grace, she was able to be influenced by the Christian faith of her family and surroundings from a young age. She received a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Xiamen University in 1990 and continued her studies in the United States that same year, earning a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Miami in 1995. While studying, Jianing participated in a campus fellowship, where she furthered her faith in the gospel and was baptized at the Chinese Baptist Church of Miami in early 1994. In 1995, she moved to the San Francisco Bay Area for a postdoctoral fellowship and has since been engaged in drug discovery and development in the biotechnology field for over 20 years. Jianing joined the Central Chinese Christian Church Palo Alto in early 1999 and has since served in various ministries, including children's Sunday school, fellowship groups, and the church's ministry team. She was ordained an elder in 2025. She and Brother Kai Wu have a son, Alan.
